Awwwwww yeah, I like it dirty. Ta-ku—Australian producer extraordinaire, Red Bull Academy alum, hip-hop aficionado, yadda yadda—dropped the second volume to his D U S T Y beats series today. Let me just say, you can’t spell beats without beast and Ta-ku is a beast on this release. He’s manipulating these old soul records into static heavy productions. If you’re a fan of Apollo Brown, Knx, bugseed, Handbook…D U S T Y Volume 2 is on par with almost everything they’ve put out. Basically, it’s 16 instrumentals deep and it has soul.
