Brock Berrigan, producer from Jersey, decided to compile a few of his Soundcloud joints into a singular, gift-wrapped release for hip-hop heads. Yes, that’s an adult wearing a chicken mask. Two questions: Do you have to wear ridiculous attire to be a musician? Where do you even get a sweet rooster mask like that!? That said, Mr. Berrigan, a.k.a. “the man in the chicken mask,” shouldn’t be reduced to an old ineffective gag, at least, not his beats. Daily Routine navigates a sampled path—mostly old soul/jazz records turned funky.
