StewRat constantly shifts his style. The Ohio producer can create lush, electronic, trap leaning, music experiences to Dilla inspired boom bap (and it’s always polished). So, “WΛVΞ” is kind of like the former. It extends past the first earthquake of sound with aftershocks doing most the damage. There are big time delays, several plates (layers) shifting and heavy cracks from the snare drum. And, the bass does DAMAGE! “Frozen” sounds more like StewRat has been playing with a Flux Capacitor.
