Being stuck on levels in a video game is like working at the mall during holidays. Soon enough I’ve heard the same song loop for a billionth time in a row and I’m halfway considering pulling a Van Gogh. Seriously, fuck “Jingle Bells”. Erick Arc Elliot who recently released Almost Remembered, (a free, hip-hop soul experimental EP,) is trying his hand in electro-techno, hey-I’m-Kanye-West-changing-shit-up-with-Daft-Punk-and-spawning-a-whole-generation-of-kids-who-think-I-made-the-beat. Sorry, well, “Europe” is a legit attempt at something different. It has the simple strains of a video game beat, being that, after 15 million times in a row it’d still stay interesting.
