LRG, Orange County streetwear company, is hosting a documentary for one of the greatest producers on the planet. Formerly a Little Brother & Murs producer turned lecturer at North Carolina Central University, 9th Wonder is now embarking on a film career. Sure, he’s just being himself, sure, he’s no Mos Def, but I’m excited. It’s 9th Wonder! It’s MR. I’ll-sample-Gladys-Knight-to-Bob-James-and-breath-life-into-any-forgotten-70’s-jazz-fusion-jam. To those unfamiliar, it’s The Wonder Year every year.
